Frequently asked questions
Do I need any experience?
No. These experiences are designed for complete beginners.
Will I actually get to fly the plane?
Yes. Under the guidance of your instructor, you will have the opportunity to take the controls in flight.
Is this only for people who want to become pilots?
Not at all. Some clients come for the experience and adventure, while others use it as their first step into training.
What is the difference between an intro flight and Pilot for a Day?
An intro flight is a shorter first experience where you can get a feel for the plane and familiarize yourself with the controls. Pilot for a Day is a more immersive, in-depth introduction to flight training that includes some ground instruction on how the airplane works, as well as a longer time in the air.
I’m not sure I want to take the controls. Do I have to?
Not at all. You’ll only do what you feel comfortable with. Your first flight is about familiarization with the aircraft and the flight environment—whether that includes taking the controls or simply observing while the instructor flies and explains is entirely up to you.
